To new and old members alike, I welcome you to one of the finest organizations in the seed industry, the Atlantic Seed Association.  As your new president, I look forward to working with you over the upcoming year and to seeing many of you at our 2008 Convention to be held on October 11, 12 & 13 in Washington, DC.  For those of you who may not know me, in addition to being your president, I am the National Manager of Professional Turfgrass Sales for Pennington Seed, which is one of the largest producers and marketers of turfgrass seed in the world.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Maryland, and have been working in the seed industry for over 20 years. 

In addition, I have been happily married for over 5 years to my wife, Karen and have a 2 year old labrador retriever named Sunshine.  My daughter Sadie, the apple of my eye, is growing up too fast, as children always do, and will be learning to drive this year.  In addition to spending time with my family, I am an avid Maryland Terrapins fan, and enjoy fiddling with my classic car, a 1971 SS Chevelle. I also enjoy fishing whenever possible.
