How We Accomplish Our Mission
-
By sponsoring an annual convention and educational
meeting each fall at an appropriate location, plus special workshops and seminars as determined by the Executive
Committee.
-
By publishing a regular quarterly newsletter, and
special reports as needed to keep the membership informed on current issues, including legislative matters that
affect the seed business.
-
By publishing an annual membership directory and
other special publications on issues of importance to members.
-
By maintaining a close liaison with members of
the Association of Seed Control Officials
or Northeastern States (ASCONES), and other
regulatory agencies relative to seed regulatory matters affecting members.
-
By maintaining a close liaison with the American Seed Trade Association
(ASTA), and other regional seed trade associations relative to issues
of interest or concern to our members.
-
By recognizing members who have made an outstanding
contribution to the Atlantic Seed
Association or to the seed industry
in general.
