In 2022 the American Seed Association established a scholarship program that will run for a minimum of two years and hopes to give two recipients $2,000 each, annually. This $2,000 scholarship is for scholars who intend on pursuing a career in the seed industry or related field and displays a solid academic ability and impactful community involvement. This scholarship is available to those who reside in Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, or West Virginia.

The ASA’s investment in this scholarship, and by extension, the next generation, is akin to planting the seeds for tomorrow’s success. We may not be around to see the fruits of our efforts but we know that character and hard work will always be the hallmarks of successful leaders in our profession.

Applications are due by April 1, 2024 and the winner(s) will be decided June 30, 2024. All applicants must include three (3) references and complete the application online.
